Locking a window in Nervecentre

Depending on your organisation, you can lock a window in Nervecentre on a desktop. If a window is locked, you can't do anything in Nervecentre until you unlock the window, or log out of Nervecentre.

You can't do this on a mobile.

Locking a window in Nervecentre on a desktop

1. To lock a window in Nervecentre:

   • From the bottom left of the window, select F9 Lock.

   • Press F9.

     Depending on your keyboard, you might need to hold Fn, then press F9.

   The window is greyed out, and a bar appears at the bottom of the window. The bar says who was logged in when the window was locked.

   

2. Unlock the window, or log out.

   • To unlock the window, enter the password of the account that was logged in when the window was locked.

     For example, if you were logged in and you locked the window, this is your password.

   • To log out the user who was logged in when the window was locked, select Logout.
